Angelique Colford- Executive Director
Angelique is a special education teacher at Twin Valley Middle School. She has twenty-eight years of teaching experience. Throughout her tenure, she has also worked as a Kindergarten and Reading Recovery teacher and an Assistant Principal. She has been responsible for the supervision and implementation of Title I and Special Education programs. Angelique earned her bachelor’s in education with a concentration in special education from Castleton State College and her master’s in education with a concentration in special education and literacy from Bay Path College. In her free time, Angelique enjoys volunteering at Jessica’s Closet, gardening, painting, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Gretchen Havreluk- Board Vice President
Gretchen is a mother of a son with severe dyslexia. She was a co-founder of the Pool Learning Center. A sole proprietor of a small business consulting company, Gretchen brings strong management and organizational skills to the Pool Learning Center. She has also served on multiple non-profit organizations throughout Windham County. In her free time she enjoys, biking, skiing, and entertaining friends and family.
Liz Fournier- Board Treasurer
Liz attended Greenfield Community College. Taught Commercial Drivers Licensing for Vermont Community College, worked for Stainless Source of New England, Inc. for 18 years then purchased the company with Dave Reading as co-owner in 2007. Is co-owner of PLF Trucking and PLF Trucking Septic Service with her husband Philip Fournier. Has been on the PLC board for ??? years.

Johann “Jim” Nortz-
Jim is the father of three and grandfather of eight, Attended Western New England College and Greenfield Community College, qualified as Certified Flight Instructor, fifteen years of cybernetics research and created training aids for pilots and automatics and others. In 1976 he founded NESCA Security Systems; which he still operates to this day. He has some learning disabilities; which prompted his interest in helping create the Pool Leaning Center. Jim has held all officer positions and has been a board member since the inception of the P. L. C. He is the volunteer Treasurer of Warm Hands Warm Heart Inc which gathers previously warn winter garments for the needy. He has been a member of Brattleboro Masonic Lodge #102 since 1995 and has served twice as Master, and was appointed District Deputy Grand Master. He joined the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, in the autumn of 1995. Serving as head of all three bodies in the Valley in August of 2012 he was coronated an honorary 33˚ Scottish Rite Mason.
